The Aftermath Part 1

The first part went well. As expected, none of the suitors came anywhere close to getting the arrow through the ax handles, in fact, most of them couldn't even string the bow. I got my own shot at it! Surprisingly, I did well. I had to restrain myself towards the end because I did not in any way want to take the spotlight away from my father. I am quite pleased, though, with the fact that I strung the bow with ease and that I most likely could have successfully completed the task with little to no difficulty!
The second part may have gotten a bit out of hand. We got Eumaeus and Philoetius to fight with us, for my father promised to treat them as my brothers if they did so. It all started by my father shooting Antinous in the throat with an arrow subsequent to him perfecting the bow and arrow task. Eurymachus tried to plead up to us, claiming that Antinous was the only bad one in the bunch, but my father would have none of it. He said that not spare anyone. At this point, Eurymachus charged at my father, but he was easily shot down with another arrow. Then I killed Amphinomus with my spear. I must go now, but the rest of the events preceding what I just told you will come tommorrow!
